Let the Nesting Begin!

Danny and I have been so busy trying to get ready for this little guy to arrive. I am 32 weeks on Wednesday, and each day that goes by, it feels like he is READY! Man, I feel HUGE!!!

We have finally decided on a baby name, for a long time we were just saying Baby Lopez. But now we can officially call him......... Mateo Daniel Lopez. I am in love with the name and I can't WAIT to meet this little man and see a face with the name!

So, since Christmas we have just been shopping, cleaning, getting carpet, painting, putting furniture together, and more shopping! HA HA.. When I say "we" I mean I have been shopping and Danny has been doing everything else. He has been AMAZING! I am such a lucky girl to have Danny. He can do it all. Such a handy man =)

The nursery has turned out SO nice. I am so happy with howEVERYTHING turned out.

We ordered our crib off of Amazon, and its the prettiest piece of furniture that I think we own, ha ha. I love it! We got a chair and a dresser at IKEA which turned out matching just perfect with the crib, we even replaced that HIDEOUS ceiling fan that was in the room before. Amazing how a little updating can totally change a room. Not to mention we got new carpet for the nursery and for the other guest room. It is so nice and comfy in there now, ready for Mateo!

My mom came down for a couple of nights to start on the bedding and curtains. She amazes me with her talent and her eye for what looks good and what doesn't. I wanted to do mostly Navy blue and White for the colors, but we were going for a nod at Notre Dame colors, so my mom thought it would look good to add in some gold into the bedding. She was right! It turned out better than I could have imagined!!!! My mom worked her tail off all day to finish everything before she had to leave for Idaho, I felt like I was running a swear shop! But she did an awesome job and I couldn't be happier with the way it all looks. Thank you so much mom! Danny and I love how it all came together! We love you, YOU ROCK!

Now its just a few more purchases, and we will be ready! Most of my anxiety is gone, and now I am just plain EXCITED! I can't wait to meet him!

The next two weekends will be a lot of fun. I have a good friend here in Utah, Angelique, that offered to throw me a baby shower in Utah for friends here. That will be this Saturday. I am so grateful to Ang for doing this, I know its bad timing in her life and I was so surprised when she wanted to throw me a baby shower. Thank you Ang, you have been such a great friend and so much fun! I love you!

Then, the weekend after that my family is throwing me a baby shower in Idaho! I am so excited to see all my family and friends and catch up with people I don't get to see all that often anymore. Its so weird to think that I am having a baby shower, WEIRD!! ha ha... My sisters have taken on a lot of the not so fun parts about throwing a party and I am so grateful to them for doing it. I know its a lot of work, and A LOT of people were invited, so thank you Regan, Kacie, Leah, and Mom for going the extra mile you guys are so important to me and Danny and we can't thank you guys enough!

So as far as everything else, I am pretty much done working. I am just too big to continue to work efficiently. Which makes for long days when Danny is at work. Kobe keeps me company though, ha ha!

Thanks for all the sweet messages, checking up on me etc from friends and family. Things are great over here!

Xmas Fun!

Merry Christmas Everyone!

We had such a fun Christmas break, Danny got some time off so we got to go to Idaho. We were there for 4 days, probably the longest we have got to spend over there in a very long time. It was so nice to get to spend time to friends and family and not feel like to were buzzing around like mad people.

We always stay at my dad's house when we visit, we appreciate it so much and we love that Kobe is so happy there. It's kind of hilarious to see how my Dad and Kobe act around eachother. They are totally in love with eachother, and it doesn't matterwhat we say to Kobe, he just sits on my dads lap and ignores us! haha

We got to see friends, which never happens when we are in Idaho because we are usually SO busy! It was fun for Danny and I to have our nights away with our girls and guys to catch up and laugh. I had some great laughs, the first friend night Me, Nichelle, Brandi Hoskins, Ambre Simmons, Beth Ferris, and Ashlee Misseldine went to Texas Roadhouse, shopping, and to Orange Leaf yogurt. I laughed so much and talked girl talk. I miss my girls so much and I am so glad I got to see them. Im so bummed I didn't get any pics of this group!The next day I went to lunch with MORE friends ( I know I have SO many friends, haha jk) Me and Nichelle met up at Johnny Carinos with Holly Clark, Katie Abrahms, and Brittany Cook. It was so fun to talk babies, andpregnancy, and catch up with them. The girls were so sweet and got Baby Lopez a bunch of clothes and toys, THANK YOU! I felt bad I wasn't thoughtful enough to buy a present for anyone, but trust me girls I will hook you up on your baby showers!

Danny took off that night for dinner and drinks with his boys, Troy, Carlos, and Jose. When I picked them up after their night out, I couldn't help but smile, they have been such a big part of Danny and I's life and they make Danny so happy, Im glad that they got to spend time together and just be "dudes" haha. I wish we had all of our friends here in Utah, it would be so much fun! We love you guys all so much!

Of coarse we got to spend some great family time as well! Every year Danny's family opens gifts and celebrates Christmas on Christmas Eve. We got their around noon and Danny took his Dad and Brother to go shooting. The girls sat around, played board games, talked and caught up. It was nice to be able to sit down and just relax and enjoy everyone's company. Every year Danny's mom also makes Tamales! I think I ate 15 of them! They are soooo good! Plus pecan pie, and I was a happy chubby girl haha. We got spoiledof coarse by the family, We go a toaster oven (danny's has wanted one since I have known him) Thank you Muneca and Reyes! New sheets, which were very much needed! All in all, it was so much fun at the Lopez's !

On Christmas day Danny and I slept in, we stayed up til 1:30 am the last two night before and it was MUCH needed to get some sleep! We got ready, dressed in our xmas pajamas the elves made for us =) We had christmas as my sister's Regan's house. Thank you guys for having us at your house, it was perfect. We had TONS of food, goodies, and laughs. I just love my sisters, sister inlaw, and brother inlaw. It makes me so happy to be around all of them at once, we are a pretty fun group if I do say so myself, haha! We again got spoiled from more Baby Lopez clothes, gift cards, and a Kuerig Espresso Maker! I am SO excited to use it, Thank you Fregoso Family! It was fun to see how big all the neices and nephews have gotten. Abigail has totally comeout of her shell, she has been so shy around all of us, NOT this year! We were so excited to hear to chatter and giggle all day. Justin and Leah's son Marshall isn't a baby ANYMORE! He is so big and growing so much, unfortunaletly he cut his hand on a broken ornamnet, that was so sad. Nurse Aunt Regan and Uncle Danny plus his AWEsome parents came to the rescue! It wasn't too bad after they got the bleeding to stop, but it was so sad... After it all calmed down Marshall sitting with his dad, says "Jingle Bells are sharp!" awwwh, poor little guy! I was so happy ALL day, thank you family for making it such great Christmas Day!

Also, Danny gave me my bday present early, a kodak camera 30x zoom! I am in love with it! All my pics were taken from my camera. Im looking forward to having at home photoshoots with Baby Lopez! Thank you babe, you always know exactly what to get me, I love you!

2011 has been such a GREAT year! We have been so blessed with family, friends, and amazing miracles. We are so grateful for our families and even today we talked about how good we have it and how happy we are to have a family like ours! If you want to see ALL the xmas photos, go to my facebook!

****This next weekend everyone is headed to Utah for the New Years and my cousin, Cade, farewell. He is off to Anahiem, Californina. We will miss you Cade and love you very much! You are one awesome guy!

Xmas Came Early!

Danny and I decided we couldn't wait any longer! Haha, we also figured since we won't be in town for Christmas we should go ahead and open our gifts from each other. I was so excited for him to open his presents, I'm such a kid! Danny of coarse spoiled me and got me a very nice Kitchen Aid that I wasn't suttle about AT ALL. Haha, I have wanted one for awhile, but still didn't think I would get it because they are pricey. But none the less he came through, haha. He also g

and some cute Notre Dame socks! I haven't stopped listening to the CD it is SO GOOD!

I think Danny won the gift giving this year, BUT he thinks I won, haha its funny that its a competition but we bot

h love giving gifts and just want the other to be so happy and excited about what we got eachother! I got him a guitar stand, the Shaq Uncut book, a Notre Dame license plate frame, a Notre Dame iPhone cover, socks, beanie, and Dolce & Gabana Cologne! Which smells amazing, I can't wait until he wears it and I get to smell it on him, haha. As fun as the gifts are, the best part was that we are able to buy each other what we wanted and afford it. I am so grateful for how hard Danny works. He is amazing!

We are looking forward to seeing all the family in Idaho in just a week, and very excited for everyone to open their awesome presents we got them!!!

Looking Back

Yesterday we had a very busy day, I purposely made it that way so I didn't have to think. Three years ago on December 9th, I lost my twins girls. There are days where it still feels so raw and fresh like it just happened, and other days that I look back and realize how far Danny and I have come since that day. Gracey and Natalia are my angels. I am grateful to have had the short time I did with them inside of me, kicking and squirming. I love them as if I am raising them. I am proud of them as if they just learned to write their names, and I miss them every single day. Yesterday wasn't a break down and cry day, it was a happy day, I stayed busy with Danny we stayed home and spent time together and then went to a Christmas party in the evening with some good friends. We had some great laughs last night. Its exactly what I needed. Good friends, good laughs, and GREAT food! A few days ago Danny and I were talking about the twins, wondering what they would have been like, crazy, wild, sweet, silly... Or what would they look like now? I picture both of them with dark curly hair and beautiful eyes. Eyes full of curiosity and excitement. I picture Natalia, because of you missing left hand, just as strong and vibrant as her sister Gracey. I picture Gracey protecting her sister, being her little body guard, not that Natalia would need it.
It's hard to imagine our lives with twin 3 year old girls, but I wish I would know how it is to raise them. That is what makes me cry... Not knowing what it would have been like to be their mother. I know and believe that I will someday get that chance to raise them and know them. Its funny but I am very jealous of my growing baby boy inside of me, why? Because he knows his sisters so well... and the twins know him! Not fair! =)
I am so grateful to have the chance to be a mom again, I am anxious each week that passes and the closer we get to the due date. I honestly can't wait to see him, hold him, and kiss him and get to see my girls in his eyes. I know he will carry them with him just like Danny and I carry them in our hearts everyday.
We just had a doctors appointment and everything looks very good. Doc says he has a big belly! I just love chubby babies so I have my fingers crossed he will be a chunk, haha. We are so blessed to have a healthy baby on his way!
Thank you everyone you sent facebook messages, text messages etc. to let us know you were thinking of us. It means a lot to know people care and love us. Sometimes you feel so alone, but then you realize people really do remember and its a hard day for them too... Wow, thank you, thank you, thank you.

This is me and my huge belly working out at Crossfit. This facility has helped me feel better about myself and keep myself active. That is 73 lbs that I am lifting, The lift is called a Clean. Go me!

Holidays are Here!

Thanksgiving this year was crazy as always. I swear whenever we go to Idaho I love every minute of it, but I also look forward to being back home. We have to time our visits with each family, and buzz back and forth from family to family because its important for us to see everyone. We love seeing all the nieces and nephews and can't believe how much they have grown.

Our 9 yr old niece, Regan's daughter, Sydney has all of sudden grown into a pre-teen. Loving Justin Bieber and wearing her iPod to dinner. She is such sweet girl, and I am excited to see how she grows and becomes her own little person. One of the funniest things I heard over the weekend was Sydney trying to teach her little 3 yr old sister Abigail to say, "Justin Bieber is Hot!" Abigail took this to the literal phrase and kept saying, "Justin Bieber is not cold!" HAHAHA, kids crack me up, so cute. It makes me so excited to be a mommy and get to know my little dude and see what he's going to be like.

When we got into Idaho on Wednesday before Thanksgiving we went and saw my Grandma Kite. She has been living in an assisted living for a while now. She is going to be 93 in a few weeks. It amazes me how sharp minded she is and still can carry a conversation with the best of them. My dad went with us to see Grandma, it was nice to spend time with him and Grandma.

Thanksgiving morning Kacie, my mom, Logan, and myself went to the Idaho Falls Thanksgiving 5k and 10k run. It was such a nice morning and so much fun to spend time with my mom and sister. I am also so grateful that even during pregnancy I am able to get out there and finish a 5k. Walking and jogging or "wogging" my mom like to call it, hee hee...

Thanksgiving day was great to see my aunts and uncles and cousins, and of coarse my brother's and sisters. Unfortunately I didn't get to see my mom at Thanksgiving dinner because she had to work and we had to leave before she made it over, that way we could go see Danny's family.

Danny's family is always so much fun, and it wasn't any different this year, I just love spending time with them and always having a good laugh.

It was fun to visit because none of the family had seen my baby belly yet, and to see their reactions. Danny's mom gave my belly TONS of love, she is so sweet. I'm so happy everyone is as excited as we are to have a little baby boy. I can hardly wait!

On black Friday I slept in of coarse haha, but got to spend more time with Kacie while she beautified my hair! I love it by the way, she always does such a good job, I wish she lived in Utah, all for selfish reason of coarse haha. Friday evening was also a lot of fun too, me, danny, the sisters and Jeremy and kids went to dinner with my dad. Its fun having time to spend with each other even if its just for dinner.

So to sum it all up, Thanksgiving break was a success, we had a great time seeing everyone. I am so excited for christmas because Danny got xmas eve and xmas day off! Yay! And we only have one more present to buy and we are DONE shopping! Hallelujah!

As far as pregnancy whoas, haha, no complaints. The other night we were up so late just feeling baby boy kick away, and his kicks are so strong, he makes me jump sometimes because he catches me off guard haha, crazy kid!

Playing Catch Up...

Its almost been a year since my last post. I have been motivated by a good friend (thanks Angalee). So a short update then I will be much better about posting, because we have some very fun things to be posting about these days!!

Danny and I had our 3 year anniversary in October. I love him more each year and I am a very lucky girl to have him in my life. The past year we had been trying to get pregnant and NOW I am expecting a baby boy on March 28th, 2012! We couldn't be more excited. Although it brings some anxiety we are hopeful and have faith that our little man will make it to us with no problems. So far he is very healthy and growing right on schedule!

We just had the 3D ultrasound and I was amazed! One of the coolest things I have ever seen. We got to see his face and his little toes and fingers, now I know the face to go along with all the kicking and poking going on inside me ;) I cried when I saw his little body inside me knowing I am able to

carry such a beautiful baby overwhelmed me and I teared up right in the Ultrasound room.

I have been having some bad headaches the past few weeks which

some woman suffer from during their pregnancies, but it makes me very scared because headaches are symptoms of Preeclampsia (this is what I had when I lost the twins). So I try to relax and use hot packs, cold packs, anything really to relieve the pain, but it never worked. Funny thing is as soon as the Ultrasound Tec looked at our baby and said he looks perfect, my headache was gone. All this anxiety has given me headaches and Danny called it, he knew I was just worried and stressed about our baby. So hopefully I can relax a little bit longer so I won't have anymore headaches. 18 more weeks!!!

Besides this wonderful, amazing, fantastic news of a new baby coming, we are doing great. Danny works so hard and is finally off of night shift. He works swing shift now and I love having him home at night. He also works too much, which is because he says he would rather work an extra day of over time then have me work more, so he is amazing of coarse. I am still working about 10 clients a week which works for me. I still love what I do and I find such satisfaction in helping others. I have some pretty awesome clients as well. I love them. Now I own my own business on the local Air Force Base, named after our sweet angels Natalia and Gracey. "Tali Grace Massage". Being my own boss has been so fun and rewarding, I am very blessed to have gotten the opportunity.

Tomorrow is Thanksgiving and I am looking forward to seeing all the family and hopefully some time to see friends. I hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving, travels safely. We will be on the road in just a few hours.

Birthdays!

I wanted to wish my niece a happy birthday! Abigail turned One on Sunday we couldn't make it to Idaho, but holy moly I can't believe she is one year old! CRAZY! She is the sweetest most tender hearted little girl, and she is one of the prettietst babies =) Kind of a side note, she is the first baby I held after I lost the twins, I havne't really said much about that EVER, but I cried whenI saw miss Abigail for the first time, she came to this Earth PERFECT and I thanked God for reminding me that it is possible and that I can try again someday. This baby girl with always hold a special place in my heart because of that, she is my reminder how great life is, and will be for me and Danny and our future family...

Fun weekends with Family and Friends...

We had a couple of really fun weekends with our families. Two weekends ago Justin and Leah came down for her birthday, Marshall stole my heart the whole weekend! We ended up going to dinner at Joe's Crab shack, it was a lot of fun, and DELICIOUS!! Its Justin's fav and I thinks it is now mine too! Leah and I shopped and she got out of the house for a while, without the baby, a nice break for Leah Im sure =) We had such a fun time seeing them and having Marshall all to ourselves, hopefully they can come back really soon!

This last weekend Danny had some friends and his cousin from AZ come down. We had planned this weekend since August so we were all very Excited! We went snowboarding at Brighton and had SO MUCH FUN! It was everybody's first time out besides myself and Danny's friend from work, Sam. But everyone seemed to really enjoy themselves, BESIDES Jennifer... haha she was so cute, but totally out of her element, she had never really even been in the snow before let alone a ski reort. All in all we had a great time, and the next day we were SO sore!!!

I forgot how much I loved snowboarding and hopefully we get to go again really soon!

My new job

So I have been working for about 3 weeks now and I am so happy! I am working at two locations, one that is about a mile away from home and actually on the Air Force Base. This location isn't the best, but I do love that it is so close to home and I can be home until my appointments. The other place, by the way both spa's are owned by the same guy, but the other place is about a 20 min drive north to Pleasant View. I really like it there and I stay super busy. I am getting excited to build a clientele, and get to know people here in Utah. Yes, I know I still haven't made any friends really since I have moved here.
All in all I love my career and very thankful that I decided to enroll, almost a year ago exactly! Danny has been so supportive of me working and is very excited to finally have a two income home... ha ha. I love feeling like I bring something to the table and I can help Danny out. I will have to take some pics at work sometime and post them so everyone can see what I'm up to.
Well, I better get some laundry done, ;)

Christmas and New Years!

I am kicking myself because I didn't bring my battery charger for my camera, so for christmas I only got a handful of pictures! Oh well. We had a great christmas this year and had so much fun seeing our families. We still can't believe how fast time flies. We drove up to Idaho on xmas eve morning, and spent all of xmas eve with danny's family. That night was so much fun and a little ridiculous, haha, but never the less we love the Lopez family. Danny's mom even had a photographer come that night and take pictures of all the family. Im really excited to get some copies of those, for sure I will post those =)

Christmas day we spent it at Regan's family with not only all of my family but all of Regan's inlaws. It was a full house and so much fun. All together there were like 6 kids, 5 of them being under the age of 4. haha, it was crazy. Plus three dogs, and mine was a PILL! Speaking of Kobe, we are getting him a very nice present ( he hasn't gotten it yet) but we are getting him fixed. FINALLY! I think the last straw was him marking on a present under the tree! GROSS! lol

All in all, christmas was a good one, and it went by way to fast.

For new Years this year we stayed in Utah, we ended up going out with friends to this tiny little bar in SLC and sang kareoke! It was a fun night to get to see friends and catch up.

I know everyone says that setting a New Years Resolution is silly.. and you all may be right, but I am still setting some.

I want to be healthy. I have been so stressed about losing weight, that all I really want is to be healthy!! My goal is to go to the gym everyday, no matter what, for one hour. After one hour if I want to do more, GREAT, if not then I can go home. Also, no eating after 8:00 pm. Basically when danny goes to work... I tend to get bored and EAT! So that has to stop. Another thing, no Junk.... sounds easy, but PFFT this girl can bring it down when it comes to Junk food.

So there they are! No losse 100 lbs in 4 weeks, no crazy life change. Just BE HEALTHY =)

I have to mention that Nichelle came down today, with the week I had last week, with a sad anniversary of our Twins it was nice to have a fun day with my best girl and do some much needed girl time. Including our twins loss, just last week on the 9th a friend of Danny's from work died. His name is Bill, he was only 26 years old. Danny and I introduced Nichelle and Bill and they dated last year for quite a while, so it was very hard for her as well. Even after they broke up they stayed close friends. He accidentally hit his head, and suffered a lot of injuries, which sadly lead to his death. We hold you in our hearts Bill, and we miss you. God rest your soul.
So with all the hustle and bustle of holiday shopping lets remember how special our loved ones are to us, when people are ill go visit, when people are sad go cheer them up... You never know when it is their time, and you might not have said all you wanted to. Life is a beautiful gift and we should not waste it on petty things. Love people even for their faults and short commings. Be forgiving if not for them, but for yourself. But NEVER blame yourself if you don't reach all of these things, we are not capable of knowing what we will say the last time we speak to someone... don't be sorry you didn't make something happen before the end, and be grateful we don't have to know when that is.
I will always hold my husband, my family, and friends very close to my heart. I hope they know that. I hope that Bill's family knew that of him.

Bad day...

Danny told me to not let today be a bad day... I am trying. A year ago today, I gave birth to my baby girls, only to say to goodbye to them in the same instant. Its hard to imagine what if it had never happened and we went through the whole pregnancy and they were born in March. Its hard to imagine my heart being to so full of love rather than heart broken. Its hard to imagine that at one point I was supposed to be raising twin girls, and now I am longing to hold them. My heart hurts today, and I wish for my baby girls every minute. How am I supposed to have a "good" day? How do I not get upset when I think about where we were exactly a year ago. Its now 11:00 am and I had my girls in the room with me, along with my family... and all i could do was hold them and cry. I wish I could do that now. I don't understand why any of this happened to us, but I know my girls are looking down at us, and they are healthy and happy.

Thanksgiving Weekend

We had a very fun weekend for Thanksgiving. I didn't take ANY pics the actual day, but I stole some form Leah's facebook (thanks leah, haha) and I took some pics on Friday when we went up to Grandma Kite's with my Dad with all the babies... I feel bad I didn't get any of the Lopez family, but we loved spending time with everyone. We even got to see our niece Justine's baskebtall game. I haven't posted any blogs about Marshall either so this will be his first blog appearance, but we are so excited to have him here and Justin and Leah are GREAT parents. I loved getting to snuggle him forever... I was kind of a baby hog, hee hee...

I realized I never posted pics from Brandi Hoskins Peterson's Wedding. I was a bridesmaid... It was such a nice wedding, and Brandi looked amazing! I should be fired...

If this were a job to keep your blog updated, I would be fired... But lots has been keeping us busy and I have been so happy! Danny and I had our one year anniversary, I graduated from school and got a job! We also went to Hawaii for our anniversary vacation. We had the time of our lives and I realized just how much I have fallen in love with Danny.

Graduation was really good, Mom and Nichelle came down to support me, thank you guys for taking your time out! Vista College asked me to speak at the graduation which was a little scary, but I did it... and I felt really proud of myself for making it. In my speach I talked a little bit about the twins, and how a month before I enrolled at Vista College my life flipped upside down and I felt broken. I still have days that I hate what happened and I feel sorry for myself, but then I am grateful that I got my education, my career, and an amazing partner to share my life with. I know that God has a plan for Danny and I, and losing the girls was part of that journey. Its coming up almost a year ago that I delivered them, On December 9th actually...

But with all of our trials comes blessings and we are so grateful for our great families, and the time we get to spend together. Hawaii reminded us how great we are together, haha... sounds silly, but honestly Danny and I are a little too perfect together! When I am thinking something in my head Danny will answer my question without even knowing I was just wondering that! He almost gets annoyed when I do it to him... haha, we constantly say things like, "Get out of my Head" lol My love for Danny has definately grown in this year full of heartache, surprises, laughs, cries, graduations, and vacations. We are bestfriends and I coudln't be luckier or happier. Ok I will stop being cheesy =) But since its almost Thanksgiving I just wanted to let everyone know how grateful I am for Danny.

I am aslo grateful for God and all he is blessed me with... without his strength I woudln't be typing this today... I am grateful for Natalia and Gracey, those 22 weeks of pregnancy and 8 days in the hospital taught me more than I will ever know about myself, about my husband, my family, my own strength, and my faith in God. Thank you girls...

Anways, here are some fun pics of Hawaii, Graduation, and Halloween... Kobe was a pumpkin! We had such a fun time being home and passing out candy to the neighbor kids. Wish I could have seen all our cute nieces and nephews... Hopefully next year!

Not much going on, but we had a nice long Labor Day Weekend... But its back to work and school for the Lopez's... And good news, only one month until my graduation. Can't wait!

Wow I haven't done ANYTHING on this thing for quit sometime...

Here it goes.... Deep breath....

Me and Danny have had such a fun summer from camping in Arizona which was right on the border so I was basically just like Mexico, AND VERY HOT... But so much fun! To spending TONS of time with out families, form sad to happy, and funny to HILARIOUS.

Speaking of hilarious, Kobe is such a crack up! I love my little baby so much and he has been a lot of fun and WORK this summer. He just loves running out to the neighbors and to his "girlfriends" house =) He and a neighbor chihuahua breaded in May and made the 4 cutest puppies that I have ever laid eyes on. We had pick of the litter and we chose the only boy, blonde hair blue eyed surfer boy... The girls all looked a lot like Kobe... so precious.

After having a breakdown because there was no way in keeping another dog, we found a great family for him in Pocatello, and his new mommy is actually a Vet Tech! We were excited for that, Thanks Mike and Michelle for halping us find his home!

We also had a lot of family come visit and spend time at our house... Plus going to Idaho probably every other weekend has been hectic but I always love it when I get there and spend time with my favorite people.

School is coming to an end in October so only 2 more months!! I am so excited to work and make some money to help poor Danny out a bit!!

Life is good, The sun shines and best of all I have Danny =) He has been working a lot of over time and I wanted to tell him how grateful I am for him and how much I appreciate his hard work...

Also, Leah and Justin's baby is coming in only a month in a half!!! I am so excited to meet that little man!!! Leah looks adorable with her baby belly... I don't think she has even gained wait, LAME!

Its been a wierd summer with ups and downs, thats for sure... But I wouldn't trade it for the world...

A couple of weekends ago I threw a Girls Night Out for my really good Friend Brandi Hoskins. Brandi is getting married this weekend June 27th and I wanted to help her celebrate with a fun night out. We ended up going to dinner at White Water Grill and then I made dessert and we all ate it at Kacie's. Thanks Kacie for lending your home =) We had such a fun night and I am so happy that I got to do something for Brandi in honor of her big day!!! Brandi is one of the smartest, most hardworking, and greastest friend that I have ever met. She is a great mother and has the most tender heart. I was honored when Brandi asked me to be a bridesmaid in her wedding, and I love her and her little girl more than she will ever know! Thank you Brandi for all you have been to me, you deserve all the happiness that God has in store for you... and Congratualations to you and Josh! God Bless you both!

This past weekend I went to Boise to see my good friend Dessa. We played college ball together, and roomed together as well, and basically she has been and amazing friend ever since. Well, she invited me to come down and run a 5k with her... I was excited, and Flew down the night before. We went to dinner, and even to this place called Fire and Ice. I made a decorative plate and Dessa made two really cute ice cream bowls.
I really enjoyed doing that actually... I wonder if there is a place like that in Layton? hmmm.

The morning of the race was fun... We got there and I had run 5k's before but nothing like this one. There were 15,000 people there ready to run or walk, and some roll (there were people there in wheel chairs) All these people were running for the cure of breast cancer. It was probably the strongest energy I have ever felt, people were so happy and pumped up.

Once the race started Dessa and I just took it all in.
As I passed people I couldn't help but notice all the little notes on peoples shirts "for mom, grandpa, aunty fay" So many people were running for loved ones they had lost in the battle of breast cancer, it would tear your heart out.
I finished the race, and felt so good about myself, I couldn't help but want to get back to the car so I could call Danny and my Mom, haha I'm still such a kid!
Later that day after walking around the mall with Dessa I was at the airport waiting for my flight back home... I was wearing my race shirt and jeans, just minding my business... This lady came up to me and sat near me... she asked if I had ran in that race today...
"yes, it was a few hours ago" I replied
She smiled at me, "thank you"
She then went on to tell me that just 3 months ago she found a lump in her breast that was cancerous, and just had it removed. My heart sank...
She was telling me how much it means for people like myself to run for something that is so profound in her life at this time. I told her that I was honored and very glad she approached me. We talked until our flight boarded... I learned she is 65 years old, from Oregon, and has been healthy all her life. She was such a nice woman, and made a very big impact on me. Before the race that morning I didn't know this woman or her story, though I had heard similar stories and probably spoken 100's of woman who have gone through cancer, she reached out and I am a better person for it. My heart goes out to woman and men for that matter, who have fought breast cancer and WON! And my heart breaks for those who fought and lost... and for their families. As a woman, I am going to use my story... though I haven't had to and hope to never have to tell a story such as this woman told me, I want to take her example and use opportunities to share my story, even if it helps only one girl. I ran for the cure at the beginning of that day to spend time with my friend Dessa... and now, I run for the woman in the airport, and women that have or will have to fight her battle.

A few weekends ago me and Danny with another couple went out for Sushi and Dancing. It was sucha fun night and me and Danny danced so much, I think I fell in love with him all over again. We really had a good time, there was live music all night. Danny doesn't like to brag, so I will for him... He is a really good dancer!

The Real Thing

I worked in Clinics at school for the first time today. It went REALLY good! I even made some money off tips, which is a bonus! I was super nervous, but then once I started on my first client, I was fine! Both clients said I did a really good job, and my second one told me it was the best massage he has ever had! What?! I was way excited to hear that! So clinics are on Thursday and Friday's and I take two appointments a day, seriously who ever wants to come down to Utah come on over make an appointment! I would love it! I'm so excited to graduate and do this for a living, I can't Wait!

Justin and Leah's Wedding

We had such a fun time in Vegas a few weekends ago. Justin and Leah got married in the most beautiful scenery's I have ever seen, and it all just seemed to completely fit for them. Leah looked absolutely gorgeous, and Justin, besides his great suit, had the biggest smile I have ever seen him have. I am so happy for the two of them, and so happy to call Leah my sister.

The whole weekend with the family was perfect. Danny and I really had a good time, and enjoyed every one's company. We were supposed to fly down, but as the flights got fuller and fuller the close the weekend came, we decided to drive

We ended up leaving with Justin and Leah, and turned out to be a pretty fun drive considering it is a 6 hour drive. Once we got to Vegas we checked in at the Hilton where most of the wedding party stayed as well. For some reason we didn't have a very nice room, haha, and funny thing

is it was actually trashed. When I went to take a shower, I turned the water on like normal. First the waters comes out of the faucet for the tub, and BAM! The faucet came flying off the some Three Stooges Movie and whacked me right in the knee, oh and the water? Yeah, it sprayed like crazy, crashing in the far side of the shower wall.... screaming for Danny to help me, he comes in and turns the water off.... not happy AT ALL, I tell him, we MUST get a new room. Danny, "nah.... there all better" after he fixes it. Man, I swear that boy is way to laid back =) haha. Other than our crazy shower and paper thin walls, we had a great time!

As for the wedding, they got married at about 6 pm, right when the sun was about to set. VERY PRETTY. Hearing my big brother tell the woman of his dreams how much he loves her and wants to spend the rest of his life with her would make any little sister cry, right? Well, I did, that's for sure! haha. After the wedding the whole party went to Joe's Crab Shack

( so Justin ) and it was SO GOOD! We had a lot of fun at dinner... Danny and I shared a bucket for two of crab legs, shrimp, and sausage with potatoes.

Anyways, the weekend was so much fun, and the wedding was even better. Thanks so much Justin and Leah for letting us share that time with you. Congrats you two! Love you, mean it!

Danny went all out this year and I did not expect it! He usually will ask what I want or act like he is hiding something if he has a surprise for me... not this year. He gave me my valentines present early on Friday after I got home from school. He was still in bed but said he couldn't sleep so I just hung out with him. We were talking about what we were gonna do for valentines, and then said, "so, I got ya something." I laughed at him because at first I didn't believe him... I thought he was gonna say something cheesy like a Hug, ha ha. He then said it was in the closet, when I opened the closet a black bag with a bouquet of white roses were sitting inside. Awww, what a sweetie, right? When I opened the bag there was candy and Cool Waters perfume! I was so excited because I ALWAYS wear Danny's Cool Waters cologne which is weird, but I LOVE it so he bought me the perfume. He said look in there some more, there is something else... Then I saw them.... tickets to Boys II Men... HAHA!!! I laughed so hard. They are going to be in town in 3 weeks and I told Danny how fun it would be to go to that, I use to be OBSESSED with them, and I still can listen to there music and sing every single word, ha ha I know I'm so lame. But he bought two tickets for us to go, which is SO sweet because he really isn't that excited, poor guy.

Anyways, he was so sweet to get me such nice things, and put so much thought into them, not to mention he got me a card, which by the way is the first card he has ever gotten me, and wrote the sweetest note to me! I love him so much, and I can already hear my sister Kacie, "you are SO spoiled!"

On actual Valentines Day we hung out at home ALL day, cleaning and watching TV. I did get some crazy phone calls from my family back in Idaho. First of all my mom had gone out walking and slipped, when she fell she broke her ankle!!! I can't believe it! But when she got to the hospital she found out the damage was a lot worse and she had to go into surgery, thankfully she is OK, but she had to get 8 pins place into her ankle along with a plate. WOW! My poor mommy! I love you mom, and hope you feel better soon... Just take it easy, (yeah right ;-) )....

By the time I got over the shock of the crazy news, Danny and I started getting ready for our night out. We went to this place called Karamba's. Its a spot where all sorts of diverse people go and dance salsa. We had such a fun time going out with just the two of us, but we were definitely out of our league. All in all it was a really good weekend, Danny and I had such a fun time just enjoying each others company. Hope everyone had a great Valentines, we love you!

Massage Therapy Fun!!

I took some pictures in class the other day and wanted to share them. There are two girls in my class that are absolutely hilarious and so much fun to be around. Im really starting to get into massage and can't wait until clinics start so I can work on actual clients rather than my classmates!! The blonde girl is Brtiany and the Brunette is Karizma. Yes, karizma =) Her hair looks like that because she was getting a massage and her hair kept getting in the way. We deffinately have some good laughs at school! Love it!!!

Let it Snow...

We got so much snow the other day, so on my way to class I took some pictures with my phone of the crazy roads, and the winter wonderland! When I got home from school Danny was awake and outside snow blowing, we just bought one and trust me, it can save a marriage =) jk babe.

But Danny has LOVED having his snow blower, especially when the snow just doesn't stop coming. It was really fun to come home and see Danny outside, along with almost every single neighbor. Our next-door neighbor is pregnant so some people down the block were shoveling her walk way... Danny asked me if he should offer the snow blower so they wouldn't have to shovel everything. I told him, maybe you should just do it for them, because if they break it ohhh man, will you be mad. He shrugged me off and asked the neighbors if they would like to borrow the snow blower... When he brought it back guess who was right... ME! Not that I wanted to be right, it just always works out that way. The guy had drove over an old newspaper that had gotten burried by snow and broke the snow blower!!! AHHHH!
Danny was nice about it and thankfully he fixed it... I can't believe I called it though... hahaha. Danny couldn't either! I know that everyone is ready for summer, but the snow is SO pretty here in Utah... it will be a sad day when its all melted.

I am awake with a million things running in and out of my mind.

What a weird day. I just want to say how grateful I am for my Heavenly Father. I know that in all my imperfections, he still sees me as a beautiful person, even when at the moment I am not. I love my relationship with God and I know that I can turn to him and be safe. I love my relationship with Danny just as much. I love Danny more than I have ever loved anyone... he is my rock. I hate when I get mad at him, because he is my shoulder to cry on, and I don't want him to turn his shoulder away. Its amazing that all we have gone through we are still learning. You would think after a while God would run out of lessons to learn, but he doesn't. Sometimes I try to imagine where Danny and I would be if we hadn't gone through what we did in 2008. And even though it was hard, I am grateful. I am closer to Danny than I think I could have ever been. Even if we still got married, our love wouldn't be as deep as it is today. Yes, we fight and bicker... but then I think what we have been through and how much I love him and realize no matter how bad I think we are fighting, nothing could pull me away from him, nothing could keep me mad at him, and nothing can be stronger than my love for him.

Sorry this is so gooshy but I had this on my mind...

God is good and loves Danny and I. We were brought together for reasons that we already know of, and I'm sure there are millions more reasons in the future. How did I get to be so blessed to have a man like Danny? I am undeserving and I thank God for him everyday. He is my good morning, my sunny day, and my good night.

First Day of School.

Hey, its been a little while since I have written so I thought, what the heck. So I started up in a massage therapy program just last week, and really I LOVE it! I was hesitant at first, but I am really getting into it and I like having something to wake up for, ya know? Danny took my pic for the first day of school which is totally cheesy, we know, but it just shows how excited we both are for a new chapter in our lives. In class we just started learning the first techniques in massage and I love coming home and showing Danny what I have learned. I'm sure Danny doesn't mind either ha ha. Anyways, things are pretty good. There is a lot of snow and it just keeps on coming, Kobe isn't a big fan.

I think about my babies everyday, but its easier to think about now.

Speaking of great babies, we got a brand new niece! Regan just had Abigail Marley Fregoso on January 17th and she is PERFECT! I couldn't keep my eyes off of her. It was such a reassurance that my babies are happy and healthy now in Heaven. Seeing Abigail with not a single thing wrong with her amazed me! It is a true miracle that babies can come to this earth and be healthy without ANY health problems... Regan and Jeremy have the cutest family and Abigail makes it all the cuter =) I can't wait to see her again... Other than the exciting news about school and Abi, we are just hanging out and taking some time for ourselves. Life is hard... but SO Good!

Random Thoughts...

So I saw that I was "tagged" by Dessa, and thought, well that's not fair... is there tag backs? or tag your it no tag backs?... or maybe even your it, no tag back times 2? Anyways, I will except your tag Dessa, and I raise you an amazing Blog =) It says that I am to list 7 random things about myself, and then Dessa kinda changed it up and added some randoms for 2008. So I too will go with the trend and list some random facts about myself and my crazy year of 2008.

1. I got married... not only married but randomly. Danny woke up on a Monday morning, looked at me while still in our pajamas, and asked "Do you want to get married today?" Talk about random. I always thought I wanted an actual wedding, which is typical for most girls, with the white dress, bride's maids, and flowers. But with it just being me, Danny, the judge, and two secretaries, I wouldn't have had it any other way! I love my husband!!! (so weird to say that.)

2. I have a dog, chihuahua, named Kobe! He is the funniest and most loving puppy in the world. He weighs only 4.9 lbs. A funny story about Kobe (and yes he is named after the NBA player Kobe Bryant) one night before Danny left to go to work, Kobe was laying under our bed, when I called him to come, he wouldn't. I looked under the bed and he was twitching funny and couldn't stand up. Danny pushed him out towards me and Kobe just wasn't himself. I of coarse laid on the floor crying like a 12 year old, afraid that my little baby was going to die! I know, very dramatic. So Danny and I took him to Animal ER just a few minutes down the road, and yes I made Danny call into work, haha I'm ridiculous. Well, turns out after the Vet looked at him, he asked us if he might have eaten any rotten fruit... Ohhhh, ya probably we have a few fruit trees in our back yard =/ We didn't think much of it and $150 later we took Kobe home and watched over him for the night. The next morning Kobe was himself acting like nothing had ever happened. When Danny went to take him outside, Kobe ran straight to the wine grapes that we have in the backyard, and then it hit Danny..."Kobe was drunk!" Kobe must have eaten some of the grapes on the ground, and for a 4 lb dog, that will do it! Silly dog got drunk for $150 bucks, NOT a cheap date!

3. I have an addiction to changing my hair, much like Dessa, we can't keep it the same color or length for very long. Its a good thing I have a wonderful sister (Kacie) that does hair for a living, and she does a VERY good job. I miss being close enough to just have it done whenever, now I have to plan my spontaneous feeling of change.

4. In 2008 I watched my sister Kacie give birth to the most beautiful baby boy. There really is no words when you see such a miracle and its someone that you love more than life itself. She is a strong woman and a wonderful mother. Oh, and I put a video of Logan when he is just a few hours old, don't worry its not Kacie giving birth, haha, whoa.

5. I am scared to walk in the dark. I literally have to keep a light on so I can walk to the next light switch and switch that on, so I can walk back to the other room, turn that off.. Did that make any sense? Well, anyways... its a real pain, but I FREAK out if the light are off and if Danny turns them off while I am walking behind him, I just stop and wait in the dark room, until he turns on another light so I can see. Wow, I really am 12.

6. I love to wear Danny's shirts and sweat pants. Now, I have a million pairs of sweat pants and plenty of t-shirts, but for some reason I wear his instead. It drives him crazy, but his clothes are so comfy. I'm sure that most girls can understand this disorder of mine.

7. Not the be a Debbie Downer, but in 2008 I got pregnant. It wasn't planned, and it was a shock, but being pregnant was an amazing feeling. Even though it all ended very sad and unexpectedly I am grateful for every little kick those girls gave me. Yes I had morning sickness, swollen ankles, and I was exhausted, but I loved it. And yes I had to go the doctor every two weeks, and we heard terrible news it felt like every time we went. Natalia's arm isn't fully developed and the chances of twin to twin transfusion are possible. It was very stressful, but again I am grateful for that. I loved being pregnant, and I love my baby girls that were born into heaven Dec. 9th 2008.

Christmas 2008

It has been a hard year, but it ended with a great Christmas. Danny and I spent Christmas eve with his family, and then Christmas day with mine. It was fun to watch the kids open their presents and see how excited they would get. Ethan cracked us up, he would freak out if the paper was hard to tear open, and then wouldn't want to open the present... funny little guy. Sydney of coarse is just calm and cute, she is so appreciative even at 6 years old. Logan is so sweet, and was definitely spoiled this year...

The funniest thing happened, it should have been in a movie... Jeremy (my brother in law) was holding Logan, right after he opened his Eagles Blanket that my mom made him... he said "Well, look who is an Eagle's fan." Of coarse we all booed like mature adults, and then in perfect timing Logan spit up a crap load of milk all over Jeremy's blanket... hahaha so funny.

Christmas eve was so nice with Danny's family, definitely different to not spend it with my family, but I feel so close to the Lopez family that I easily felt at home. Danny's parents got us a very nice Video Camera. Thank you Elizabeth and Librado, you have done way too much.

Grisel is getting so big and was very cute opening her gifts, I bought some fabric for all the girls so my mom could make Grisel, Justine, and Bailey blankets. They all loved them! I was happy to be able to give them such a nice gift, thanks to my mom's amazing talents!

Danny and I had such a nice holiday and we are so grateful to live close enough that we can come down and spend it with our families. Even though this year has been a really hard time, we could smile and let go a little of our pain. We love our families so much...

We also celebrated my 23rd birthday while we were in Idaho. Danny got me a very pretty necklace... thank you babe. I love it! I also should let everyone know, that Justin has popped the question and Leah said yes. They have been dating for a year, and he asked her on Christmas Eve. We are so happy to have Leah apart of our family, and I laugh when I see how smitten Justin is over Leah, she is a great girl... Congrats you two!

I am so blessed to have such an amazing Husband, family, and to have Danny's family to call my own. When we think that God had forgotten about us, we need to look in the eye's of those who love us the most... and then know that God could never forget and never will because he loves us so much to give us the gift of love and family. I hope everyone had a Christmas as unforgettable as mine.

My Sweet Baby Girls

I lost my sweet angels. I lost them because they were too perfect. Because God needed them in Heaven more than they needed to be on Earth. I never believed that something like this could ever happen to me. Not that I thought I was above it, but I couldn't imagine at 22 years old I would be having a burial service for my own children. That I would have to say goodbye to my children before they would have to say goodbye to me. I want my babies more than ever now that they are gone, I imagine what it would be like during my day of cleaning and cooking and being able to take care of them and love them. I wish to hold them every hour of every day. When I pray now, I say hello to my twin angels because I know that they can hear me. I still consider myself a mother and Danny a father, but I never thought our parenthood would be this hard. Everyone says its the hardest thing you will ever do, and its true.

At first I was so angry and hurt that God would plan this for me and Danny. Why? I was so ready to be a mommy and show them things that my mom taught me. I was looking forward to the long nights, the crying babies, and headaches. I would give anything to be exhausted because I had twin infants. But now I am exhausted from tears and frustration. Everyday gets easier, but there isn't a day that doesn't go by that I think about my little Gracey and my little Natalia. There is an hour that I look down and wish that I was still pregnant and miserable. I wish that things could have been different. But I have faith that God has a plan for me and Danny, and someday we will be reunited with our babies. I just wish that I could have one day, just one day...

Girls, thank you for making me a better person and for bringing your father and I closer. Thank you for being strong, even though at times I am not. Thank you for teaching me to be a mother, even though I couldn't keep you. Thank you for helping me grow closer to my Heavenly Father. Thank you for you spirit that I feel everyday, and I know now that I have two guardian angels with me and with Danny. Thank you...

Logan's Blessing was a very fun time. I loved seeing my family and getting the chance to spend time with all of them. I am so grateful for the family that my Heavenly Father has blessed me with. I looked at my both of the grandmothers this weekend and thought how lucky I am to have them in my life. Kacie's home was so nice, all filled with family. I loved it! I love you guys all and can't wait for Thanksgiving to see most of you again! Now me and Danny are going to take a break and just hangout at home, something long overdue.

Miss Sydney Taylor is growing up so fast, and is probably the smartest person I know. If you really listen to this angel of a girl, she can teach you something! I miss my babies everyday.

Crazy weekend!

What a crazy weekend we had. It all started on Thursday when we got a scarey call from my midwife. She told me that the blood tests that were taken threw some red flags...wow, more red flags... She continued with the bad news that the test for Down Syndrome came back with a fairly high score, which apparently is no bueno'. As I listened in shock and tears rolling down my cheeks she urged us to come in as soon as possible to get an ultra sound to make sure that the baby wasn't just off on the due dates. Of coarse we scheduled an ultra sound for the next day, making it the longest 24 hours of our lives. The next morning my mom met up with us for moral support and we marched into the doctors office. Scared half to death I layed down on the table, and listened to the chances of my baby to have down syndrome. As soon as she touched my belly with the magic wond I saw a little perfect picture of a baby... then Danny in his mind " Was that two heads?" He looked at my mom and said, if it's twins I'm gonna pass out... As the ultra sound tech. looked at my "baby" she questioned, "Has anyone talked to you guys about twins?" WHAT?! hahahaha.... tears, came like the floods. We couldn't believe it, She moved her wond around some more and yup, there they were, two baby girls. We never imagined having twins.... Never. So the reason for the high blood tests is because of the high number of babies. After the news we realized that if our life wouldn't change dramatically before, it really will now. Grateful for good news and overwhelmed with the news, I looked at Danny and knew that everything happens for a reason and that I had never loved someone so much than at that moment when I looked at the father of my twin girls.
If that isn't enough of a shock we were in for more.... I guess we asked for it though. But the weekend was fun, Danny's family came down and celebrated his 27th birthday. The weekend was winding down, the family had gone back to Idaho and we were left with our wondering thoughts again.
Monday morning October 27th, 2008 Danny and I took a drive to the Davis county court house. We paid the nice lady $50 for a marriage license, not knowing that a judge must see us before any of this was going to be legalized. Most of the judges in Farmington weren't doing any marriage ceremonies until after the election on Nov. 5th. We didn't want to wait and asked for more numbers. We found a judge in Bountiful, Judge Dawson. He performed a very nice ceremony and gave us helpful advice. I couldn't help it but cry through the whole thing. As I looked at Danny, Judge Dawson asked me why I loved Danny so much. My heart felt so full.... I love him because he is genuine, and treats me better than anyone has ever treated me. I truely believe that God is grinning ear to ear that I found Danny... I know I am happier than I have ever been. God works in mysterious ways, and sometimes we don't always know why he does things, but I know exactly why he has given Danny and I the gift of true love and the gift of having our own children. After we left the courtroom, I felt that a weight had lifted off both of our sholders, and at that moment my life felt complete. I am a lucky girl to have met someone who loves and cares for me the way that Danny does.
I love him.... and he's my husband!!!
